Listening to Curiosity: Why We're Bringing Are You Curiouser? to the Front
When Daniel first built Are You Curiouser?, it wasn't meant to be the star of the show. It started as a small experiment. Could there be a fun way to practice writing questions and getting feedback to learn to be more curious?
But something unexpected happened.
Demo after demo, Are You Curiouser? kept stealing the spotlight. People instantly connected with it. They laughed, debated, got competitive, and wanted to play again. Everyone has been supportive of the Mission, but it's obvious it's when they play the game that it really clicks.
That's actually what hooked me too. I believed in Daniel's vision from the beginning, but seeing that game in action was the moment I knew Hypandra had something special. It captured curiosity in motion - not as an idea, but as an experience.
Across more than 50 demos, we heard the same thing again and again: They love the game.

So fun!
This is probably the most fun part of the product — it should be the main feature.
My question was fine, why did I lose!?
So, we listened.
We've been investing heavily in the next evolution of Are You Curiouser?. Not only is it front and center on our new landing page, we added a leaderboard so players can track progress and see how they stack up globally. We expanded and simplified topic options to make it easier for anyone to jump in and play—whether you're a student, teacher, or just someone curious about the world. And we're already developing new features:
- live and turn-based multiplayer modes
- custom leaderboards for your family, group chat, or classroom
- ways for users to evaluate questions
- practice spotting whether a question came from a human or AI
We are building a fun, social way to introduce people to deeper thinking and the joy of asking better questions.
Are You Curiouser? has become that perfect entry point - a game that highlights our mission while inviting players to explore what curiosity looks like in action. From there users can jump to the Explore feature and continue their Hypandra experience.
We're proud of this pivot because it came directly from listening—to our users, our partners, and that spark of curiosity that got us started in the first place.
