The Missing Pillar of AI Literacy (Part 2)

From Critique to Construction

In Part I, I argued that something essential is missing from how we currently define AI literacy: an explicit focus on questioning, limits, and the protection of human thinking itself. Naming that gap is only the first step. The harder—and more important—work is articulating what belongs there, how it functions, and who it's actually for.

In Part II, I move from critique to construction, unpacking the five competencies that make up this missing pillar and exploring what it looks like to put them into practice across education, work, and everyday life.
