Curiosity Builds! 10-Hour Course
1-on-1 instruction, real projects, AI literacy built in
What it is
Over 10 hours of 1-on-1 instruction, students go from idea to working project — learning how to code with AI, how to evaluate what AI produces, and how to stay in the driver's seat while using it. The topic is theirs. The build is real. The learning sticks.
Students don't just build something that works — they have to understand it. Throughout the course, there are built-in checkpoints for comprehension, reflection, and intentional decision-making about when to use AI and when to do the work themselves. This isn't optional — it's the structure. The AI literacy is baked in, not bolted on.
Course structure
The 10-hour arc moves from discovery to delivery:
- 1–2Surface curiosity, scope a buildable project
- 3–5Build, debug, iterate — experience the speed and the friction
- 6–8Check understanding, expand the project, discuss boundaries
- 9–10Polish, deliver, reflect
Pacing is flexible. Some students finish in 8 hours, some need 12. The goal is the learning, not the clock.
Who it's for
Learners of any age — from late elementary through adult — with no coding experience who want to build something real.
The curriculum adapts to the student. Works especially well for learners who thrive with autonomy, struggle with traditional instruction, or need to see the point before they engage.
